Well... anyone that knows me quite well knows that patience is not one of my greatest attributes. As a matter of fact, it's probably one of my worst! But, that being said, today I am grateful I have the limited amount of patience that I do have.
The amount of patience that I am able to exhibit depends on the crowd that I am with. For example, I seem to grow an abundance of patience when I get in front of a classroom full of 8 year olds; however, when it comes to asking a favor from my husband or family... my patience seems to shrivel up to almost nothing. Ha!
Well, today I am thankful that I have patience (whatever amount I actually do) and I'm even more thankful that I can rely on God to be in control for me. Most of the time, the things I struggle being patient with are of little importance and God takes care of them for me if I trust in Him. Matthew 7:7 says, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
