FAMILY!

It's about time that I blog about how I thankful I am for my families! Although there are many things that I assume are a 'given' in my list of things to be grateful for, I do not want to take for granted how fortunate I am to be part of such amazing families.

My parents raised four children all within just a couple years of each other. Although we were best of friends, worst of enemies growing up, I'm so thankful for my brother and two sisters today as an adult. I consider them my best friends and can't imagine my life without any of them. Then of course, there are the brother-in-laws and nieces and nephews... don't even get me started on how amazing it is to be an aunt! I love them so much!

My husband's family is also out of this world. My in-laws have always treated me like one of their own; likewise, all my brother-in-laws have no problem picking on my like a sister! I feel so blessed to have married into an extremely kind, and loving family.

All that being said, we like TO BE with our families!

We are excited for this weekend because we decided (as a family) that we would all run the TC 10 Mile race this weekend. Jordan and I have done this before, but we are so excited to do this race with his whole family. All of his brothers and their girlfriends, as well as his dad, are running with us. It will be a great experience.

I am thankful that we are close to our families and have such a strong support system. God is good!

"Train a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."
-Proverbs 22:6
